Mindset Changes to Simplify a Healthy Life

Practice Often

If you think of exercise as something you do to lose or gain weight, you will only do it if it is absolutely necessary. But exercising is something you do to stay healthy. Exercising just 20 minutes a day can keep you energized all day long. You don’t have to go to the gym and lift heavy weights all the time. Sports should be fun. There are many things you could do at home even without any kind of equipment. The important thing is that you have to do it consistently. It’s okay to lose a day or two, but you need to make sure you get it back as soon as possible.

Yes, sometimes I even lose a few days of my training for some reason, but I make sure to make up for that the next day with some HIIT or long yoga sessions.

Sports can be different for everyone. If you don’t like running, you can do dance, zumba, yoga, karate or kickboxing. Whatever you choose, the only thing you need to be sure is that you enjoy the practice.

20 minutes of exercise will provide you with enough endorphins to keep you cool throughout the day.

What works best for me are my morning runs and yoga exercises. I recently completed a 100KM running challenge with 2 of my friends.

Eat Healthy, Focus on Ingredients Instead Of Calories

A can of Coke contains about 150 calories, which is equivalent to a handful of almonds. So stop counting calories. Your body doesn’t just need calories. It needs food that makes you feel full and has a good amount of nutritional value. Almonds contain rich fiber, protein and healthy fats that make you feel full. But what’s in a Coke? Well, just a huge amount of sugar and carbon dioxide that not only has nutritional value but will cause bloating.

Quick tip: Look for the ingredients on the label. If you’re not sure about all the ingredients in a particular product, you should probably just skip it.

I’ve seen many of my friends opt for fat-free or low-calorie versions of their favorite foods. They think it’s healthy. But most of these foods contain additives to make up for the lack of sugar or fat that is not healthy.

It’s best to stick to basic ingredients and organic foods (if possible).

Health Is Very Diverse

There are so many recipes labeled healthy, but always remember that if something is healthy for someone, that doesn’t make it healthy for you.

Quick tip: Food should make you feel full and energized. If certain foods make you feel bad and sleepy, this is not a healthy food for you.

It is very important to know what is healthy for you and what works for you. Sometimes you have to go through trial and error, but in the end you know what’s best for you.

Healthy Doesn’t Mean Expensive

Few of my friends always complain that healthy food is expensive and use this excuse to cover up their lack of interest in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The best way to live a healthy life is to cook at home more often. You can also occasionally prepare an organic meal.

It’s fine if you have a few meals a week at a restaurant or party, but make sure you burn those calories with high-intensity exercise or running and return to home-cooked food as soon as possible.

Quick tip: Fasting once every 15 days is the best way to cleanse the body. Fasting has been scientifically proven to have many benefits for your body.
